Masahiro Higashide has been cast as Doumeki while Karen Miyazaki has been cast as Himawari in the upcoming xxxHolic live-action drama which starts in February.

The Nagoya CLAMP Festival has announced some of its programming including the following:

Concert including Suga Shikao, Kotani Kinya, Sakura Tange, Megumi Oogata, Junko Iwao, Mika Kikuchi.

The Festival is coming up this weekend, December 2nd.

[Update] CLAMP Fes web special, xxxHolic drama

For those who are awake, the CLAMP Fes web special is online right now here at jamborii.com with Daisuke Namikawa, Junichi Mogi and Kotani Kinya.

And CLAMP-NET has updated with news that the xxxHOLiC live-action drama will start February 2013 with a run of 8 episodes. There will be a marathon run of the anime and xxxHolic movie in January to celebrate.

 Tomaoki Maeno (Kobato's Fujimoto), Sayaka Ohara (xxxHolic's Yuuko) and Mika Kikuchi (TRC/xxxHolic's Mokona) have been added to the CLAMP Festival guest list. Their appearance schedule is here.

Code Geass: Akito the Exile Chapter 1 Blu-ray/DVD will be released January 29th, 2013. No CLAMP-related extras, but more info here.

[News] PW-momoko and CLAMP Festival

CLAMP-NET has updated with a preview of the finished PW-momoko ae doll which will be available for preorder August 24th for 28,000 yen at pwstore.ocnk.net. Delivery expected April-May 2013. 

The doll will also be at an exhibit August 11 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center. More details on the exhibit here. 

And the CLAMP Festival has added a third date and venue at Nagoya on December 2nd.

[News] CLAMP FESTIVAL 2011 TOKYO Official Guidebook

The CLAMP Festival website has updated with news that the guidebook will be sold at Animate stores November 3rd for 3,000 yen (the Festival bag is not included). A large image of the cover can also be found at the post here.

[Update] CLAMP FESTIVAL 2011 Roundup

So how many of you watched all 12 hours of the CLAMP Festival live streaming? I only endured the first 3 hours and last 2 hours. Tetsu Inada, Iwao Junko, and Naomi Tamura were among the guests that visited Sweety, new pop idol group, while they were MC'ing the stream. There was also another lesser-known idol group, Peace Love?, and someone who was demonstrating ComiPo software. I think someone tweeted that Kotani Kinya also showed up? Feel free to comment about what else was online.

[News] CLAMP FESTIVAL Goods and Streaming info

The CLAMP Festival website has updated with images of the new CLAMP merchandise that will be available at the Festival in just a couple days. There's a small image of the CLAFES Official guidebook (with special bag) which has a new CLAMP illustration. The guide will contain interviews with the performing artists. The other goods are your standard clear files, key chains, etc.

There's an official nicovideo link HERE which will stream live on September 24 at 10am (Japan time), (9pm Friday EST) for 12 hours. The video will show the activity on the CLAMP Gakuen stage (not main stage) which will probably show the cosplay event. I expect there to be more behind the scene video, fan activity, and maybe guest interviews rather than actual performances on the nico channel.

The official B2Holic Blythe doll image has been updated at Blythedoll.com. The doll will also be on display at the Festival. Preorders will be taken on their mobile site.

[Update] CLAMP Festival sorta adds Maaya Sakamoto

Maaya Sakamoto will be the narrator for the Festival's original animation. No word on an appearance yet. It was announced earlier that Nana Mizuki and Hiroshi Kamiya will voice the new characters of Anzu Nekota and Naomasa Goushi.

There will be a Cardcaptor Sakura Festival featuring a medley of five songs.

[Update] CLAMP Festival characters

Nekota Anzu and Goushi Naomasa are the new original characters CLAMP has created for the CLAMP Festival who will be featured in the manga giveaway and in an original anime shown at the festival. The director of Tiger and Bunny, Keichii Sato, will be in charge of the anime.

ETA: Seiyuu for the new characters will be Hiroshi Kamiya and Nana Mizuki.
