I think there were preorder ticket sales back in October, but this is general sales. (whatever the difference may be). This is the xxxHOLiC stage event featuring the anime seiyuu.

xxxHOLiC will be performed as a drama reading stage event which will include an original screenplay by CLAMP and music by Yusaku Tsuchiya.

The cover for xxxHOLiC Rei volume 4 was revealed on twitter. It will be out October 6th.

[News] xxxHOLiC Rei Volume 4 +

Amazon.jp has the limited edition of xxxHOLiC Rei Volume 4 up for preorder. The limited edition will come with the 2005 Blu-ray edition of the 2005 xxxHOLiC animated movie.
The release date is October 6, 2016.

Tsubasa World Chronicle Volume 3 will be out August 17th. (the original date was July, but got pushed back..I'm not sure if the new release date got posted here.). The limited edition will come with a PlayButton audio drama. Amazon.jp link

[News] Suga Shikao × CLAMP

CLAMP and Suga Shikao are once again together for a special comic in tomorrow's Young Magazine. CLAMP has a special xxxHOLiC chapter inspired by Suga Shikao's new single, あなたひとりだけ 幸せになることは 許されないのよ. The music video also captures scenes from the manga.

The single is available now on itunes jp. See his website for more information. Suga Shikao's new album, The Last, will be out January 20, 2016.

[News] xxxHOLiC x Super Groupies

Like Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHOLiC is getting into fashion with Super Groupies and have some xxxHOLic-inspired shoes and jewelry coming out.



You can preorder the merchandise this month, but will have to wait until next year for the release. Check out the Super Groupies website for more details.

xxxHOLiC Rei goes on a publication break right now, and hopefully will be back when Tsubasa WoRLD CHRoNiCLE Nirai Kanai-hen starts August 20th.

Volume 2 of xxxHOLiC Rei will also be available in a limited edition format with the 2010/2011 OADs, xxxHOLiC Rou & Rou Adayume, on Blu-Ray. It will be on sale April 23rd. [more at the xxxHOLiC portal]

[News] CLAMP-NET is open!

CLAMP-NET has been re-opened. It's trimmed down from the last website and now has a craft-like quality due to the photos of the clay figures and handwritten-like font, but it's pretty cute and the schedule calendar is useful. There's a facebook link, too, but it's down at the moment.

[News] Kodansha USA at Comic-con

Kodansha USA has licensed xxxHOLiC Rei for domestic distribution. It will also re-release xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa in three-in-one omnibus format.

xxxHOLiC Rei Volume 1 will be out in October in Japan. Kodansha USA will release it at the end of 2013.

[Review] xxxHOLiC Kocho no Yume artbook

This arrived about a week after its release in March, but I did not have the time to actually thoroughly look at this until now. There are some nicer photos out there and probably scans of most of these images, but in case you wanted a hands-on review of it....


This came in a beautifully illustrated cardboard box which you'll want to keep for reasons below...


Inside the box is a hardcover slipcase with a magnetic closure.

The book itself is a flimsy softcover/paperback book with a decorative red paper cover. Like I mentioned, you'll want the cardboard box to protect the book since it can easily slip out of the hardcover portion. Reading right-to-left, you'll find a short story by Tow Ubukata in the beginning.

Then you get to the delicious insides; all of the lovely illustrations unmarred by text or ads. The color and print quality are excellent. Because of the square layout, the majority of the illustrations a intact on one page. There are only a few that a split between two pages. The illustrations are mostly chronological with the colored illustrations first, and then the monochrome illustrations (ie. splash pages) next.

The only items lacking are an index...and an omake comic that sometimes grace CLAMP's artbooks, but the packages clearly presents itself as something quite special and elegantly put together. Will it be another 10 years before we see part 2?

The xxxHOLiC live-action drama aired yesterday! CLAMP posted a sketch they gifted to Anne who plays Yuuko at @CLAMP_news.

Kodansha has a new banner for the upcoming xxxHOLiC Rei manga which will be in Young Magazine March 4th.

And on this new ad, you can see a tiny preview of the three illustrated panels of the upcoming xxxHOLiC artbook. It will be on sale March 29th.
