First impressions: Kurogo Kurusu and his bff try to recruit classmates into their kabuki club. They meet with resistance in episode 1. The animation production quality is the most disappointing part of this cute, happy show.

CLAMP was responsible for the anime's character design. The original work is based on light novels by Yuuri Eda. It airs today in Japan.

CLAMP has been revealed to be the character designers of the upcoming anime, Kabukibu! The anime will premiere in April 2017 and is based on the light novel series by Yuuri Eda. The story is about a young high school student who sets out to create a kabuki club.
