The Kobato Pinky:St figure is now up for preorder at many jp sites. I originally thought this was supposed to be out earlier this year, but the release date is August. [credits: amiami]

The Kobato Pinky:St has appeared at the Winter Wonderfest 2010 [credits: P is for Pinky - check out the blog for more new Pinky's]. It will be out this May.

(The special Newtype Pinky has previously appeared on Yahoo.jp auctions in case you had wanted it.)

Here's a prototype of the Kobato Pinky St. figure advertised in Newtype. I think this one will be a mail-in figure. You can see by the advertisement that there will be another version, too. You can see larger photos at Hobbystock or this site which slates these for a Spring 2010 release date. More information should be in Newtype 12 which will be out November 10th.

There's a preview of a new Pinky:St figure in Newtype 11. It's Kobato and Ioryogi. (Add more info in the comments as I couldn't find anything else.)

[News] CLAMP-NET

A couple news items were added at CLAMP-NET.

September 29: CLAMP will be illustrating the cover of Asano Atsuko's Kamigami no utatane [神々の午睡（かみがみのうたたね）] book. CLAMP previously illustrated a couple chapters of this series which ran in Animedia, and these drawings will also be a part of the 272 page book.

November 20: The previously mentioned Kobato. calendar was added to CLAMP-NET. 13 illustrations in a B5 desktop calendar for 2,100 yen.

Looks like the Kobato will get more merchandise than just the calendar. GAGraphics has posted a prototype Kotobukiya PVC figure of Kobato. (the GAGraphics page has slight larger images) It will be released in December, and the price has yet to be decided. (The figure's pose is from CLAMP's illustration of the Okimono kimono book in case you were wondering.)

2ch is also reporting that Newtype 9 has news regarding the anime theme songs. (This is still unconfirmed, but let me know if you find a better source.)
