[Domestic News] Dark Horse's GATE 7

Dark Horse will be releasing the English version of CLAMP's GATE 7 Volume 1 on October 25th. Read DH editor, Michael Gombos', comments about simultaneous and/or digital releases at ANN.

There's also an image of the cover, so it's possible CLAMP will not be drawing new illustrations for the tankoubans (like they did not do for Kobato).

This month's Monthly Shonen Ace reveals that BLOOD-C's main character, Saya, will be played by fan-favorite seiyuu, Nana Mizuki.

[News] GATE 7 Volume 1 +

GATE 7 Volume 1 will be on sale June 3rd for 460 yen.

CLAMP will also indirectly participate in a charity event April 23rd at Kawamata, a city whose local economy had plummeted because of the nuclear disaster. CLAMP has donated a CLAMP School Detectives colored illustration to the event. Details can be found here.

[Random] CLAMP calendar app for iPhones +

CLAMP-NET has updated with news that a Calendar 'Kisekae/Dress' app will be on sale for 350 yen at the iPhone app store starting April 15th. The app will allow you to change your calendar skin to feature one of 5 different CLAMP skins - Kobato., xxxHolic, Tsubasa, Magic Knight Rayearth, or Cardcaptor Sakura.

Also noticed that Viz's 3-in-1 X manga is up for preorder at Amazon.com. Volume 1 will be out October 11th, and Volume 2 in January, 2012.

[Random] Ramen Icchan

At Arika, CLAMP have made their 'Ramen Icchan' illustration available as a wallpaper download. This was the illustration they created for Mihara Ichirou's Twitter site as a sort of April Fool's joke. :)

[News] BLOOD-C website opens

The BLOOD-C website has updated with a variety of news. Production IG and Tsutomu Mizushima (xxxHolic) are back with CLAMP to create the anime. The screenplay will be written by Nanase Ookawa and Jun'ichi Fujisaku (Blood+). The series will also have a movie release in 2012. CLAMP has a comments page here and the series' twitter account has opened, too --> @blood_c

And for something special, fill out a short survery HERE and download a special CLAMP-illustrated wallpaper. You can run the page through google translate and still get to the download page.

And finally, Newtype 5 (on sale today) will have an article featuring CLAMP's BLOOD-C illustrations.

[News] Animate's SMILE HEART

On April 10th, Animate will host a charity auction. It will be held at Ikebukuro's Sunshine City. People from the anime industry will be auctioning off items to raise funds for the victims of the Tohoku earthquake. A color illustration panel from GATE 7 autographed by CLAMP will be an item donated by the mangaka group. From the charity auction list, it looks like CLAMP has 3 autographed reproductions up for bid.

In more upcoming charity news, Blythe will auction off their 9th Anniversary Manga Girls Inspiration dolls to raise funds for the earthquake victims. CLAMP had participated in the creation of a Cardcaptor Sakura doll and Watanuki doll. This auction will be held in June at CrownJewel's website.

[News] Yahoo's Emergency Disaster Fund

CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura wallpaper is up for download at Yahoo's Emergency Disaster Fund website. For those who donate 500 yen or more you have access to download one of many wallpapers from their special gallery.
